D BRIEFING
2024: Found myself stumbling back into the world of GoldenEye 007.
Didn't even plan on actually playing the game - Just collecting some neat articles and sharing some relatively old discoveries (previously unpublished).
Became a winter project to restore some of the lost pages (some of which date back to 1999).
A short list of about a dozen "new" pages eventually became the posts of this blog.
The latest exploration of the game has almost gotten out of hand.
So much to see that it's overwhelming.
One level, one room... One door, one guard at a time.
Thanks to the efforts of GoldenEye modification enthusiasts, countless interesting points have been unearthed from within the game.
Casual fans will undoubtedly scratch their heads at all this "custom mod" stuff...
Meanwhile, the hardcore people will wonder why I'm wasting my time publishing old news.
(I could fill a book with all the things I don't know...)
Away from the game for decade-long intervals, perpetually playing catch-up.
At my own pace, on my own time...
Would like to eventually write The Definitive Guide to GoldenEye 007. With hundreds of pages (and already 75 posts on this blog alone) there's still much to say about this classic.
Never seems to be enough hours in the day.
