Normally, Alec Trevelyan will mock James Bond in the Control Center before the elevator doors shut.
Bond will have no way to reach him, and must choose a different exit.

The doors will start to close as soon as Trevelyan sees Bond.
Another case of being ridiculously fast (or by using Cheats like Turbo Mode)...

If Bond can make it inside the lift, the former Agent 006 will still be there, staring blankly at the wall.
Guards will even come along and open the door, absentmindedly performing their duty.
